I have a few suggestions for Alyisha, who is looking for funny contemporary fiction. I like a dark undertone to humour, so these might not be exactly what you want, but I hope at least a few of these will appeal.

Lindy @Erinreadsthebooks I read it for book club and I am 20 years older than the other members. They had to explain quite a few of the pop culture references to me. I wouldn‘t have enjoyed it as much as I did without them sharing their appreciation for the main character. 4d
