🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 This was an amazing crossover story! I loved how it actually built on one of the conflicts that was alluded to at the end of The Kane Chronicles. Exploring the dynamic between these four was so fun, and I'm simply a sucker for crossovers of any kind. It could've been better, but overall it was wonderful.

I just finished Percy Jackson and the Lighting thief. I really liked this book because it‘s not something I‘m used to reading. I found it interesting learning about Greek mythology. I would definitely recommend this book. Looking forward to read the next book in the series!

🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 I'd say just as good as The Chalice of the Gods. Bringing out new character development and challenges, while still feeling like reading the original five books again.

🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 I honestly don't know what people are talking about when they say that the Senior Year Adventures are bad. This book was amazing, with just as much fun as I remember from the first series. I loved the commentary on both being young and growing up, and I think it fits that they had both of those journeys (with Hebe and Geras) in the first book, since this trilogy is based on Percy growing up and moving into a new part of his life.

Started this one today, and I missed reading in Percy's perspective! My boy! Sucks that he has to do MORE quests after everything he's gone through, but of course Zeus would be a salty hypocrite like that.

The House of Hades | Rick Riordan

As much as I loved The Sun and the Star, updating my #readingbracket2025 meant choosing between it and The House of Hades. THoH might have won simply because it has more characters and is longer, or some other emotional appeal. Either way, it was a very close decision.
