The conclusion of this series has left me kind of disappointed. Everything worked out the way I expected, hoped for even, but it wasn't done in a satisfying way. The ending is definitely more of a happy for now situation, of which I've never been a fan. I really feel like there should be more to the story, but there isn't.
Okay, so this was surprisingly very simple, but still really good. There was a lot of development about how certain people felt about each other, but nothing has been determined yet. I'm curious as to how this is all going to work out in the end.
So not a lot happened in this beginning volume, however, I did enjoy it. I will probably see where the rest of it goes, but I don't really have any expectations. I do forsee a love triangle forming, which means the rest of the series could be full of drama.
The jumping timeline was confusing at first, but interesting. It was the music references and lyrics that had me lost. And the relationships aren‘t the best, even though I could feel Asher‘s love. Why did the thing at the penultimate chapter even happen?? It‘s just so much back and forth. Well written, but not my fav.
Starting to check out about 25% in just because I only like Asher as a character 😅 Summer is getting on my nerves and Garrett completely sucks. Maggie is ok. But ugh she needs better people in her life
I got this book for free, in exchange for my honest opinion via NetGalley.
Spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk.

I read a lot again this week. I had high expectations of all three of them, too high I think in hindsight. Hard Girls is really good, just not what I expected. Both others, hmmm 🤷🏻♀️
I‘m excited to see what Elle Kennedy does with this story. I thought “oh..no sports” but then were introduced to Jack.
