I haven't watched the TV show inspired by these short stories, but I definitely will now. Crouch does a great job of creating a mostly likable character, but one who has major flaws. Even though you know Letty is going to keep screwing up, you can't help but continue to root for her. Every story introduces new elements of her personality, and Crouch is an expert at twisting the plot just when you think you've got it all figured out.
