What. Even. How can it already be time for May's #BacklistReadathon !?!? Absolute madness! As usual, we're taking the third week of the month to focus on an author whose backlist you've been meaning to read. I'm sticking with Jill Shalvis - her Lucky Harbor series is conveniently broken into multiple trilogies, so I'm ready to hit up the third set of three books!! Another fun entry into the town of Lucky Harbor. It was great to finally find out how Ali and her backstory. She is an eternal optimist despite what life has shown her. Jake is dealing with some fallout from work and trying to get away. It was great to see how these two got together now that I have read the friend group out of order. All the usual suspects from the geriatric crowd make fun appearances. #romantsy

Another good one in the Lucky Harbor series. A lot of sexual tension in this one, sometimes getting in the way of the story. But it‘s a good story, a mystery and romance, coming home or creating it. #readwomen #romantsy

I have had an absolutely hellish work week. So I plan on diving into these two very different books when I finally have my 3 day break. One more work day to go. 📚📖🐧🦍🐴💙💜💛💚❤
