⭐️⭐️⭐️ As an elder millennial, I‘m a few years too old to appreciate this fully, as I literally never watched a single show, but it was still a worthwhile read addressing the challenges and successes of various projects. I‘d heard of almost all the shows, but was definitely clueless as to how many folks got their start in the Disney Channel aughts. That kind of blew my mind.

Kaylamburson I definitely agree that a lot of the fun was connecting to the shows and actors that I had seen growing up and it wouldn‘t be as much fun without that nostalgia. 2mo
Suet624 Every now and then I‘m surprised too by an actor saying they started on one of the Disney shows. 2mo

Some behind the scenes of all that happened at Disney between the early 90s and the Mickey Mouse Club, all the way to the 2010s. I learned a lot of new information and Lalaine (Miranda from Lizzie McGuire) did a fantastic job narrating. It didn‘t have any bombshell information and won‘t ruin your idea of Disney the way other tell-alls are known to do.

britt_brooke I‘m listening to this rn! 2mo

Even though my kids were more Nickelodeon than Disney, I found this book interesting.

Shia LaBeouf, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato - all very interesting.

My only gripe is with the audiobook narrator and her pronunciations. The word 'complimentary' was pronounced "compliment-airy." The era of the 90s was the "nigh-knees."

It drove me crazy, but I'm told that's how the kids these days speak ???
