Jen Benson writes so beautifully about nature & the landscape that it's easy to forget what she actually did - she lived full-time in a tent with a baby & a toddler. She makes it sound kinda romantic, idyllic even, but this can't have been a walk in the park. I barely coped with 1 baby in a house!!! Her 2 seemed fully on board with the concept, mine at 3 y.o. would scream blue murder if I made her walk 5 yards she didn't want to walk!!! More ⬇️

Tamra I remember camping with babies/tots plus dogs and it was NOT easy. In fact it was more work than being home! We did it anyway to travel, but our saving grace was we‘ve had campers. The conveniences helps, but only so much. 🤪 (edited) 2y

Starting this one next. I am very much NOT a camper!

RavenclawOwlCat I‘m not a camper either, though I want to give it another shot. As long as I have some sort of toilet...even a bucket 😄 3y
