In a time with so many amateur political pundits and professed constitutional experts. “How many Americans have actually read the Constitution and other important American Documents?” My guess is not many. The truth is they can be difficult to read, written for lawyers, in an older style of writing that we aren‘t accustomed to, and/or far too wordy. All should at least make the attempt to read the documents themselves.

Ericalambbrown I am continually amazed in recent years at how those claiming to love the Constitution the most loudly seem to understand it the least. Is this just a collection of documents or is there additional writing around them as well? 7y
Tkgbjenn1 This book is primarily the documents themselves. There are “lead-ins”, separate writings giving a brief synopsis before each document. If you are looking for in-depth breakdowns of each document, this book doesn‘t provide that. 7y
