pickI am a fan of the BBC Historical Farm programs. I also like trains with a childlike enthusiasm and similar knowledge base. So this book was bound to be a winner with me. Enjoying Peter and Ruth‘s reading voices (in character but also a bit different from their tv presenting) was a bonus. This book offers fun history, some repetition, clearly explained developments and relationships between technology and the lives of individuals.
