panNice to know that mid-lockdown I can still have the experience of an overconfident man I don‘t know bellowing his opinions in my ear. I was hoping for insightful cultural criticism and got purple prose, a lot of ‘ooh aren‘t I clever‘ and a 10 page essay on why Lady Gaga isn‘t real music. The fact it has good goodreads reviews genuinely confuses me.
