For the most part this was a really good anthology. The stories were interesting and fun to read. It wasn‘t until the end of the book that I felt the stories going down hill. All That Burns the Mind was boring at the beginning but redeemed itself at the end. Long Ears and Foreign Study were terrible and confusing. Both were hard to follow and not much action. Overall the anthology gets 4 stars from me. I could just do without the final 3 stories.

emilyhaldi I haven‘t seen this one before but will definitely stack as I live in Columbus.. do you live here too?! 5y

Thanks to Akashic Books and LibraryThing for this cool ARC. Columbus Noir is a collection of noir short stories set in the city of Columbus Ohio.

DGRachel Ooh... I don‘t have that one yet. 😍 5y
ReadingOver50 @DGRachel have you read others in the series? This is my first one. 5y
DGRachel Yes! I‘ve read 5 (Sydney, Montana, Istanbul, Baltimore, and Nairobi) and only 1 was disappointing. I own 24 and hope to get to read more of them in November. 😊 5y
