The #siblings in The Sad Tale of the Brothers Grossbart are as despicable as it gets. Grave robbers who will happily murder any and everyone who make their lives even slightly inconvenient. Along the way they make enemies of farmers, witches, kings, and demons, looking out for each other and a quick couple of coins. #aprilbookshowers
With only a hundred pages left, I just couldn't bring myself to care about any of the characters or what was going on- my TBR pile is too big to waste any more time not enjoying this one!
A friend of mine lent me this book last spring. I read it right away. It has the distinction of being the most disgusting book I have ever read. I don't know how to return it. 😖😖😵 #somethingborrowed #booktober
#favbookishsiblings. Did I get that hashtag right? I usually don't (may edit it right, though). Anyway, this was my first Jesse Bullington. And it's right-now gone from my shelf. Forever, I think. But I'll get it again. His next two are even cooler. And, he's also Alex Marshall. Amazing writer. Knows fantasy inside out, and back around again.
