pickPick, but very nearly a so-so. Pros: easy to read, well -balanced memoir mixed with Church and Via Francigena history. Cons: not enough of the "journey to faith" bit. I would have liked a more personal, deeper account of his emotional struggles and journey, but overall I enjoyed what Egan was willing to give me.
