Yes! Farming memoir! :)
I‘ve read many books about the experience of farming, but this is the one I‘ve been waiting for! I loved that Kristen was able to translate the beauty of farming, while still being truthful about the hardships and heartbreak. I also loved that she read the audiobook and did a wonderful job. A rare 4/5🥕s from me.
I can't get enough of books by women who do some version of farming, homesteading, and/or seasonal home cooking and then write very beautifully and wisely about it. This is the second Kristin Kimball book of that type that I‘ve read, and I loved it even more than the first. Her life is so interesting, but it‘s her writing that draws me in the most. (ADORED her narration of the audiobook.)
February 1st is a gorgeous 76° day here. Our hammock may need a sign-up sheet. ☀️?
I was shocked this arrived so quickly!! Looking forward to this new memoir from Kimball because I adored The Dirty Life!
