Kershaw knows how to write war; he commands words and language to the highest effect. This book follows the war career of Felix Sparks, an unassuming leader who lead men through tragic battles to ultimate success in WWII. Among the first to liberate Dachau in Germany. In the 90s, successfully fought the NRA to take guns out of the hands of children in Colorado. His life made our lives better.

For a man who has faced and has seen so much, he is strong. A book of courage and bravery. It will break your heart but open your eyes to the tragedies of war.
