I am a big Daniel Silva fan, and this book has perhaps his best opening ever. The story is great as a CIA officer tries to track down the world's deadliest assassin. Silva fans will find some familiar faces and the book is so good you don't want to put it down. That said, and I won't elaborate for fear of spoilers, I found the ending unsatisfactory. I understand why it ends as it does, and it's certainly realistic, but I just didn't care for it.
