The stories are hit-and-miss, but there are some good ones! Especially the titular story, last in the collection. Duncan Ralston rocks.

1.) Video Nasties by Duncan Ralston 💀📼

2.) Night Shift by Stephen King is incredible, but also Books of Blood by Clive Barker (My two faves!)

3.) Stand-alone definitely, I actually complain quite a lot of how many book series there are; especially in the post-apocalyptic/zombie genre - it seems like everyone and their parrot is writing a post-apocalyptic or zombie series! 🤷‍♂️

I think most short story collections are hit and miss, this particular one had more hits than misses; it was gruesome, outrageous, disturbing and more importantly - well written.

I only started it yesterday, probably the quickest I've read a short story collection; as soon as i finished one of the stories I just had to know what the next one was like straight away.

I recommend to fans of horror short stories and I rate it 4/5. 💫💫💫💫

Addison_Reads I've been debating on buying this one. I think you've convinced me now. 😁 5y
