#7days7books thank you @magyklyXdelish for this idea!
Day 1: This is the first book I have ever read willingly. I never enjoyed reading until I randomly found this book on a shelf at the library. I always wanted to work for the FBI and this book spoke to me. It encouraged me to get my Master's in forensic psychology. Which I am proud to say is 50% complete.
This book is powerful, thought-provoking, and educational. I loved every second of it.
CassieT Can I ask from where you‘re getting your degree? I wanted to follow that track so badly but chickened out when I wasn‘t able to do it at first. I went with Crisis & Trauma counseling instead, which I also love, but I‘m tempted to try for the forensic psych again... 5y
LoverOfLearning @CassieT yes I'm currently working at a rape crisis center so I went the crisis route too! I am getting my masters at Nova Southeasten university in Florida. They have an excellent online program. And I believe in you do what makes you feel excited. 5y
