When I was little, Clifford the Big Red Dog was one of my favorites so it‘s cool to see the two combined. Really cute RA for kindergarteners. I would use this traditional literature spin-off would be a great read aloud for the classroom. This Clifford book was a great book for kids. The colorful pictures are visually appealing for the kids to look at. It is a fun twist on the three littles story making Clifford a clumsy dog who has to fix his mistakes. #lae3414sp19

"The Three Little Pigs and The Big Red Dog" by Daphne Pendergrass Illustrated by Remy Simard follows the classic (TL) The Three Little Pigs, but with a fun twist with a sick Clifford. Fun for young ages. This links students prior knowledge of house materials, which is helpful for ELLs (4). This representation of fairy tale is across all languages and makes it a good UDL (2.4) strategy. Readers theater would be great for this story #Lae3414sp19
