Pretty decent tie-in featuring 11 and the Ponds. Characterization was good, and the story was original. Not my favorite, but still a fun read.

mom2bugnbee Is that the Funko Pop figure? For Christmas, my 13yo gave the Pop of 11 wearing a fez to her 16yo sister, knowing 11 is her fave. I was very proud of her thoughtfulness. 6y
Traci1 @mom2bugnbee that's so sweet. The TARDIS is a cookie jar. When you open the lid, the light goes on and it makes the swooshy sound. 😁 6y
mom2bugnbee @Traci1 Oh, my word. I will definitely seek that out. 6y

The Sontaran Games | Jacqueline Rayner

One last Early Adventures post. Even though I prefer the Second Doctor stories, yesterday I started this First Doctor audio that depicts his first encounter with the Sontarans. It's good so far, and it features Dan Starkey who has played numerous Sontarans on the show and in audioplays (including Strax of the Paternoster Gang). And check out that cover art!
