Did not expect that to be a 'meh' experience, but nothing really grabbed me. Nothing felt fresh, more like old reruns without the benefit of nostalgia. I guess you could call it classic themes, but to me they appeared tired. Apparently not really a fan of Tim Sale's art style either. Welp, to each their own preferred Batman comics. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Getting in my holiday reads with the Batman halloween specials. Working my way through Haunted Knight first, and will be following it up with The Long Halloween 🎃 🦇 The art is just fantastic!

Tbh, I‘m not a huge fan of Batman. But I enjoyed this novel. It was broken into 3 different stories. One with Scarecrow, one with Penguin and one with the Mad Hatter. Batman even went through the Christmas Carol haunting is on Halloween! All these stories are set on Halloween night/weekend so I‘m counting it for a Halloween read.

Ah, Batman on Halloween... Seriously what could be better than this?? LOVED the artwork in this one! And with an All-Star cast including Poison Ivy, The Penguin, The Mad Hatter, The Joker and (the master of fears) The Scarecrow this made for a very good read! Would definitely recommend.

Managed to get a Halloween read in before having to leave the house. We have a weather advisory for the next few days and it's pretty cold and blustery out right now. Looks like #Winteriscoming. 🤷🏼‍♂️

This was pretry good. It's the same creative team that did Batman Long Halloween, and while that story was better, this one was still lots of fun too! 👍
