If you want detail on Frank Sinatra, this is the book for you. I mean, I wanted to learn about the book's subject -- and I did -- but sometimes it felt like the writer thought he needed to beat you over the head to make you understand.

With that said, overall I liked it. I got what I wanted out of it. This covers his life up to the "From Here to Eternity" Oscar win.

I‘m a big Sinatra Fan, usually not big on biographies but I glad to add this to my collection. My boyfriend gave me two books for Christmas. This one and Edgar All Poe Collection. I can take my time because I doubt I‘ll read this straight thru or use this as a reference. Reviews say it reads more like a novel and it‘s one of the best biographies about him

Alfoster I love him too! (My biggest claim to fame is he sang at my mom‘s prom when he was just starting out)!😍😍😍 6y
BookedBySunrise That‘s awesome, I have also loved him even when I was little. Got teased some at home and family because I Of it. Been told I was born in the wrong generation lol 6y
