When Life Gives You Demons | 
so-soSixteen year Shelby Black is in Exorcist book camp hell by her Uncle Roy but how do you explain to the new cute boy that you are an exorcist in your spare time?
This was a cute and light read but I think the author missed a great opportunity to make this story more. I didn‘t get a feel for all the characters besides them all fighting demons.

so-soThis was cute, charming and fast paced. My only complaint is that the climax was too fast and too tidy. The story could have used another 50-100 pages. Very Buffy-esque but in a good way. It feels like the first season of that show did. Despite similarities it is it‘s own book. I would rate 3.5 stars out of 5. Would read more of Honeybourn‘s work.
so-soThis opened on a strong note; the first scene had me giggling out loud. Unfortunately, the story soon lost its shine and ended up being pretty average. I felt like I‘ve met this character and read this story before; nothing really sets it apart from any other teen book. ARC provided by Edelweiss in exchange of an honest review.
