I have been missing reading her books. Oh how I wish she had written more. She‘s my got to writer when I need something gentle and real. I love the women she wrote. I always feel closer to my mother (she‘s been gone 15years), when I read Rosamunde Pilcher.

Rosamunde Pilcher has passed away at age 94. She was one of my favorite writers when I was in my teens and 20's. I'd never been a fan of love stories, but her style of writing was so gentle and beautifully descriptive that I became a reluctant convert. I dearly wish she'd written more books. 😔

Bklover Oh, I loved her! I read her in my twenties too. Started with The Shell Seekers and went from there. Your description of her writing is perfect. 6y
CarolynM Oh, that's sad. I adore The Shell Seekers, I just recommended it to someone this morning (edited) 6y
Traci1 @Bklover @CarolynM The Shell Seekers was my first of her books and remains my favorite. But I've loved all of her books. 6y
