"I hope you'll hear what I'm about to tell you: When you're waiting, you're not doing nothing. You're doing the most important something there is. You're allowing your soul to grow up.
If you can't be still and wait, you can't become what God created you to be"

"We can't manage our dreams like popcorn in a microwave.
There are promises from God that are
slow cooked but in the end, they are well
worth it when we finally sink our teeth
into them"

I was a little disappointed. I had hoped for more about general spirituality and less God/religion.

Pickpick

I finished this one this morning. I absolutely love Monk Kidd‘s use of metaphor to find meaning. I gave this one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I checked this out last night as an e-book. It was recommended by Brene Brown, I believe. In her book The Gifts of Imperfection. I hope when I dig into this one I like it!
