Well. It's done. This book broke my heart. 😭 No spoilers but christ on ice, this was a rough one. I will say, although Bramhall is a lovely narrator, I will be glad to get back to Victor Bevine for the rest of the books. I'll just go now, and cry while I roll silverware 😭

It is not a good night at work, y'all. Curling up in a booth at work with my book is going to be the only way I don't throttle one of my coworkers. 😭😡

LibrarianRyan Hey I had that day too. Take some reading therapy. 7y
TheBookishBarista Drizzt is bae! 7y
blithebuoyant @LibrarianRyan it definitely improved, once I took some DayQuil and all my coworkers left and I got my book out for some audio knitting! 7y
blithebuoyant @TheBookishBarista yes! 😍 But his poor heart is broken right now. 7y

blithebuoyant Girl. WHICH death, I just finished it and I'm sitting at work trying not to let my customers see me cry 😂😭 7y
blithebuoyant Also, you're all wrong, it's coke. It's ALL COKE. 😂 7y
blithebuoyant When Drizzt grabbed Jarlaxle at the end and he and Bruenor promised him everything to get Cattie Brie back, I totally sobbed. I can't deal with it 😭 7y
TK-421 @blithebuoyant Cattie Brie, Regis 😭 It's been a couple years since I read this book, but I remember sobbing & trying to explain to my husband that I couldn't tell him why I was crying because he hadn't read it yet! He still hasn't read it so in hindsight, I think should've just told him (spoilers be damned!) & made him cry too lol 7y
blithebuoyant @TK-421 it took me a year to get through the transitions series, due to personal reasons involving the death of the person who introduced me to Drizzt and the fact that I didn't like the new narrator. So I totally get it but yeah definitely tell him 😂 7y

I wept at the end of The Ghost King; I was a blubbering mess! The worst part, though? I couldn't even tell my husband WHY I was crying because he hadn't read the book yet! #somethingforsept #septphotochallenge #mademecry
