With the upcoming 20th anniversary of Princess Diana's death, it was fun to read about what may have happened if she didn't die but instead disappeared from her life to live anonymously in a midwestern US town. The stakes become high for her when she encounters a paparazzo from her past who begins to suspect her true identity and sees an opportunity to expose her to the world and make a name for himself. Some awkward writing, but still good story.
What if? What if I didn't like the ending? What if the ending felt judgemental and rushed? What if we actually get the space in our lives for second chances? What if we take advantage of those chances to change and grow? Then our responses to stress would also change.
