pickThis was an interesting, in-depth backlist title about the massive E. coli outbreak in Washington and California in the early 90s. Benedict had access to all the major players — attorneys, doctors, and families of the victims, who were mainly children. He also had access to Jack in the Box‘s CEO, upper management, and files. I wish there was less on the law and more on the medicine, but still an interesting read.
