#52Books52Weeks This is in order of the prompts for this challenge. The last two aren‘t pictured as pic collage would only let me have 50 items. 51 is The Corner That Held Them and 52 is beyond that, the sea.

The best part of this challenge for me was fitting books from other challenges, buddy reads or prize lists into the prompts as much as possible. Reviewing my 2023 reading has been a pleasure as it was filled with some outstanding books.

I wasn‘t aware until I finished that this was the last book in this series. It is a slow burn of a book with a couple of mysteries to figure out one a hit and run and one a disappearance. It felt a little flat to me after loving the first two.

So happy to have finished this challenge!

#52Books52Weeks Book 50 of 52. #NordicNoir

It is a good thing my daughter likes Nordic Noir as I would have had no clue what to read for this prompt. This collection of stories is dark and gritty, full of murder, mayhem, revenge, abuse, etc. Not for the faint of heart.

I wasn‘t sure I‘d be able to finish the challenge but I got my ducks in a row and have my last 2 books ready to go.
