Come As You Are is not in the database, but whatever. I was totally going to read the book I started a couple days ago, but I was on Instagram, and Sarah MacLean posted a reel by Hardy squealing over the Fated Mates podcast episode where Sarah said she one-clicked this immediately after reading the back cover. Supposedly a “Gen X romance” I couldn‘t resist. Available on KU. Fingers crossed it‘s enjoyable.

intothehallofbooks This sounds SO cute, thanks for bringing it to my attention!! I just grabbed it. 2y

Mehso-so

Hardy does well at conveying chemistry between Kissie and Trig. Their moments together were electric and when Hardy finally got to the smutty goodness it was HOT! There are a couple of things I have a gripe about, one of them being that we didn't get to see Trig and Kissie meet, I know it probably doesn't matter, but since we didn't get that first electric moment between them that sparked their attraction to each other, it felt like instalove.
