Well, here we are halfway through the year and I think I need to up my reading goals a little bit. 😂
Well, here we are halfway through the year and I think I need to up my reading goals a little bit. 😂
I met my number of books goal awhile back, but now I‘ve met both my page and hours goals! Pages are hard for me, and I only read 58,000 last year, so to beat that by December…I‘m really happy!! 🎉🎉🎉
No page or hour goals next year though!! Too stressful!!
Met my goal a lot earlier than last year!!! #goodreads
Number of books goal met! ✅
Now, I‘ve met my audiobook hours goal! ✅🎉
The only one I have left is number of pages, and I‘m at 97%. Cheers 🥂 to another great year of reading!
Well, I set my goal at 75 because I was planning on reading some chunky books, so this is a pleasant surprise. What a great reading year! Looking forward to 2023!
❤️ Yes I do. Depends on how I do the previous year. This year is 50 books.
💜I'm at 48 right now and I thinking with some short things I'll make it.
💙Eating good food. Watching tons of Christmas movies. Spending time with loved ones! 🎄
#wondrouswednesday
So excited to have met my goal two months early!! 🥂📚🎉
#Scarathon #Scarathon2022 #TeamMonsterMash
In direct contrast to my TBR, I‘m making my Fall Bucket List and Watch List super super light!
Still not sure if ai‘m gonna be able to make everything work but I‘m sure gonna try!
Whoops, I‘m almost 6 months early 😂🎉
The most I‘ve ever read in a year is 52 books, so 2022 is going to completely obliterate that record. I really have to give it to all of you kind, passionate, and encouraging readers here: Litsy has absolutely played a role in increasing not only my stats, but my love of reading (which I didn‘t know was possible!). Y‘all are the best and I‘m so grateful for your great recommendations and welcoming spirit 🤗
My current reading plan is to finish the library books I have at home and then read ten from my owned books TBR.
I‘m having a hard time deciding if I should read the quick reads from the library first or a longer read.
🤞I‘ll be done with these my Memorial Day.
#BFC2022 I did win my DietBet for March but my other goals were kind of a flop. My outdoor reading goal ended up not panning out because Texas decided to be Texas and my allergies got really bad towards the end of the month. I really love the DB group I found though. They are a fun bunch. Will post April goals on next post.
Can't believe it's that time already @wanderinglynn thanks for hosting!
1 - I have 2 CRs to finish, I've misplaced one which is is a pain 🙈 but I did read 11 books this month!
2- As mentioned in my mid-month post, I had to change my schedule due to injury. I swapped yoga for my physio exercises and have done those almost every day
3- I journaled every week, some weeks 2 or 3 times
So I'm going to call all of this a success #BFC2022
My goal for books is 35 I know that‘s high but it‘s much lower than I‘ve been reading so giving myself some grace.
My fitness goal is to get to all my PT appointments (2x a week) and not make any excuses unless a true emergency happens. I‘m recovering from two work injuries so hoping this will help me get back to 100%.
Working on making more meals and cutting down on sweets.
#BFC2022
@wanderinglynn
I've kind of dropped off the radar this month, but I'm keen to give my goals a good go!
- read 11 books (eek!)
- stick to my work plan
- take time out every day
@wanderinglynn
I‘m going to be conservative in recognition of the fact that I‘m going to be spending time with family, watching movies and still have to work some in between. If I could get the 20 books on my #bookspin list read and clear the board for the first time, that would be a victory for this #wintercosy readathon and help me rack up a bunch of points for #mistletoemaniacs in #wintergames2021
Thanks @PuddleJumper for hosting!
As #NovelNovember comes to an end, I have to say... I did it! I pretty much accomplished all the goals I had set out to do.
1. Finish / Start I is for Innocent ✔
2. Finish Undead and Unfinished - finished in a DNF way, but read something else in its place so ... ✔
3. Finished Maybe You Should Talk to Someone ✔
Thanks again @Andrew65 for hosting!
1. Yes, 50 books. I'm currently at 33 books so 4 ahead of schedule. I'm happy with that!
2. Keep working on my art.
3. I'm grateful for my ability to follow my passions.
#wondrouswednesday
BFC wasn't fantastic this month, but I still made some great progress! I'm adapting this months a little to better suit me and my needs.
☆ Read at least 4 books
☆ Yoga twice a week
☆ Bullet Journal every week
☆ Self care time once a week
Of course I‘m in!! Thanks @wanderinglynn Let‘s go #bfc21

Here are my reading challenges and other goals, which I will support with the reading resolutions I posted yesterday! #2020ReadingGoals #AuldLangReads
Thought long and hard. I decided to not do popsugar20 or readharder20. I'm only sticking with Litsy Challenges. I feel like I will get more out of discussions with my Litsy friends than doing without anyone. So...

I'm so excited to start a new year, a new decade, and a new month of goals! The picture doesn't look like much with only two hard copies but there are eight in the Kindle that I have to read, most for review. In 2020, I hope to make good progress on catching up on series and missed books from authors I enjoy reading. That and getting through some of my massive TBR stack will be my main goals for the year with monthly goals to keep me on track 😁
I hit my yearly goal! (Every year I try to read as many books as years I am old lol.)
Now, last year I got to 42 books total for the year - time to meet & exceed!
Ready for round 3. My first audiobook is a Brene Brown and it is very insightful and a good one to listen to while walking. My goals are listed above. Thanks @Mitch for being a team captain again. #bfcr3 @wanderinglynn
Here are my goals for #BFC Round 3:
15 books
Complete Focus T25 DVD programme
Reduce carbs to include in one meal per day
Reduce sweets to once per week
Excited to get started.
I was travelling back from holiday today but I do a lot of walking too so will post steps too.

Happy #BookFitnessChallenge round 3 day!!!
Looking forward to making more progress this round and grateful to have my #BookDragons team by my side!
#BFCr3
I‘ve signed up for #bfcr3 and am super excited to start tomorrow! My gym is open from 1-4, which is when my daughter naps, so hopefully I can kickstart with a kickboxing workout! I‘m really looking forward to challenging myself on turning off my electronics before bed. I‘ve done it in the past and I slept so much better (not entirely sure why I stopped!)
I would like to finish these this weekend (I have started them all). Anything else is bonus. #24in48 #readathon #24in48tbr
So excited to be reading with you guys during this scorcher!
#bookfitnesschallenge #BFCR2 @wanderinglynn @Hestapleton #bookdragons Week 2 midweek check in: we‘re in the middle of a hellish heatwave here in Ottawa and I haven‘t been up to meeting my previous physical goals. So, rather than getting down on myself, I‘ve adjusted my goals. So far this week I‘ve finished 1 audiobook and 2 cross stitch projects. I‘ve snacked healthier and have taken 2 mental health days off work. So far so good!
Not sure exactly which books I‘ll read this month, but my July TBR will be chosen based on these challenges! #nonfiction2019 #authoramonth #booked2019 #cozyinthesun and #indianlitreadathon happening on Twitter
🔥 Does anyone have a recommendation for a nonfiction book to satisfy the prompt Something that Turned out Unexpectedly?? 🔥
Megan Rapinoe clearly celebrating #bookfitnesschallege week 1 as well as her own goals.
#BookFitnessChallenge
Week 1 of the #BFC did not go as well as I hoped. Reading is going well, I met my goal for running and organising but I did not meet my goals for yoga and diet.
Life and mental health issues decided to step it up a notch so I ended the week exhausted and overwhelmed. I have amended my goals to make them more achievable for now.
Wishing I had joined a team now too!
On to a new week
Well it‘s only 48 hours until we officially kick off round 2 of #BFC. My awesome team are @Chrissyreadit @ErinSueGreads @Itchyfeetreader @MicrobeMom @phatsallylee @Blaire They‘re going to all post their goals soon - so help me cheer them on Litsy loves, because it‘s hard putting it out there.
I posted my goals early to show everyone that this is YOUR challenge. It‘s NOT a competition. Your goals are YOUR goals based on your needs, abilities, limitations.
This time I added a mental wellness goal (#4). Thanks to @TheReadingMermaid & her #mysterymessageswap, I realized how much being creative helps me.
So make your goals yours. You can have as few or as many as you like. They just need to be trackable.
#bookfitnesschallenge #bfcr2
The next round of the #bookfitnesschallenge is coming soon!
My goals are to listen to 6 audiobooks while active, continue my bone healing diet as I work my way off crutches, and to eventually get back to 10,000 steps a day.
Cut it down to the wire, and I had to make one adjustment week one of #BookFitnessChallenge. Here‘s the week 1 breakdown:
- 1/2 audiobook (The Notebook)✔️
- 0.5/3 of first paper book✔️
- 70/90 minutes of rollerblading (had to fit in a 30 minute walk at lunch to make up for the missing 20 minutes)✔️
- 123/120 minutes yoga✔️
- 1 hike for 2.23 mi today at lunch✔️
#ATB
Another monthly goal reached, and early at that thanks to the #deweysreadathon this month! I‘m ready to set my goal for May. #aprilshowersbringmayflowers #readinggoals #bookly
Yes! I did it! I was several hours behind my goal at the start of the weekend, but I did it! This reading goal function of the Bookly app has really helped me step up my reading and make reading more of a priority. 😊❤️📚
Hmmmm...what else?
